A Morning of Hope 2018

Andre Norman is an accomplished speaker, counselor and advisor from Boston. But not unlike many of our students, Norman’s road to self-empowerment had a few bumps along the way. Norman was raised in a family that struggled to stay above the poverty line. As one of many children in his large family, his behavior often went unchecked, which led to poor decision making throughout his youth. Each year friends and supporters of HopeWorks come together for a “Morning of Hope.” For the past 8 years, this breakfast gathering has highlighted the key events that occurred during the year in terms of workforce development, adult education, and spiritual growth.
