It is never a failure to recognize the need for help. When a person has only seen their surroundings for so long, it seems hard to imagine anything different. A Case Manager will start by listening to the clients story. They may uncover dreams and goals that have long been forgotten or buried under the rubble of bad circumstances. They can share a new vision and map the steps to fulfill it. Even more significant is their ability to identify the barriers that are holding someone back and then get them out of the way.
