HopeWorks Plus Workshop for Graduates

You are all invited to join us for HopeWorks Plus, a special event for HopeWorks graduates, on Wednesday, July 17. The day will be full of helpful information designed especially for YOU! Here’s what’s included:

8:00-12:00 Representatives from the Drive-While-You-Pay program will be on hand to meet with anyone who needs more information regarding how to have a suspended Driver’s License reinstated.

8:00-10:00 Human Resource Coordinator from FedEx will be on hand to help interested candidates apply for jobs. These positions are open to people with or without GED/HS diploma and with misdemeanor background issues only. Location is on a bus-line.

10:00 Nancy Crawford from the Better Business Bureau will be speaking about credit issues. (Getting it, repairing it, maintaining it!)

11:00 Jackie Royston from MLGW will talk about understanding your utility bill and ways to reduce your utility costs.(*The first 40 graduates to RSVP will receive a home weatherization kit valued at $50)

12:30 Lunch

1:30 Felicia Orr from Tennessee State Assistance will answer your questions about financial aid for college or technical school.

2:30 Angela Brown, Food Coach, will speak on the topic of “How I Learned to Love the Foods I Used to Hate!”
